- Description
- The work consists of the contractor furnishing all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specifications. Following is a summary of work to replace electrical equiptment at Eielson AFB, AK. The project shall include, but is not limited to: replacing all light fixtures, receptacles, disconnects, and high-water alarms (exterior light and buzzer) in manholes 102 and 102-1. Replace all light fixtures and receptacles, disconnects and install new high-water alarms (exterior light and buzzer) in manholes 100 and 103. Replace existing electrical cabinet located on pole adjacent to MH 103 with new 120V panel/disconnect. All new electrical equipment installations are to be in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) 2005. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238210 with a size standard of $13 million. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is being solicited for Emerging Small Business IAW FAR 19.20, Emerging Small Business Set-aside Program. THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 23 June 2007. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement, all solicitation documents will be available electronically and it is the responsibility of the offeror to register for notification of updates to this procurement via this web site.
