- Description
- The work consists of the contractor furnishing all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specifications. Following is a summary of work; install two permanent ground test points at each of 14 facilities or equipment locations. General locations are as follows: 9 airfield facilities, main-base facilities and 1 range facility (approx 5 miles from main base). Each test point will consist of a ?? diameter, 10ft long copper ground rod enclosed by a hand-hole enclosure for easy access. The enclosures will be made of plastic or fiberglass and will be flush with the ground. At 18 locations, the enclosures will have 3ft metal flags attached (such as fire-hydrant flags). Enclosures at 3 main-base facilities will not have flags. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238210 with a size standard of $13 million. The magnitude of this project is under $25,000. This acquisition is being solicited for Emerging Small Business IAW FAR 19.20, Emerging Small Business Set-aside Program. THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 23 June 2007. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement, all solicitation documents will be available electronically and it is the responsibility of the offeror to register for notification of updates to this procurement via this web site.
