- The Syracuse VA Medical Center intends to negotiate and procure on a sole source basis IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.106-1 (b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source from American Medical Depot, a disadvantaged, small, minority owned business, 4380 NW 135th Street, Opa Locka, FL, the following: System 13 XPS 3000, Microdebrider IGS Straightshot, Endoscrub 11 Pump, Endoscrub Footswitch, Endoscrub power supply. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the acquisition of commercial items utilizing the clause and provisions outlined in FAR parts 12 & 13. Clauses stipulated herein may be downloaded via the internet at the following address: http://www.arnet.gov. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation/request for offerors. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested parties have until June 27, 2007, at 1:00 P.M., EDT (1300 hours), to submit their qualifications and capabilities in writing. Such qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Oral communications will not be accepted. If there are no responses to this notice within the time designated, this facility will commence negotiations with American Medical Depot.
