- Description
- This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 it is the intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to make award to the Detica, Inc. The intended contract will provide four PacketHunter chassis' which will include a single board computer and its electronic components and six line interface cards with a capability up to OC48. The systems will have the session filtering on target string, and targeting on static IP address and/or port. Additionally the contractor will provide Session Intiation Protocol (SIP) software and software licenses for the Packet Hunter. Detica, Inc. holds the proprietary rights to the required software manufactured exclusively for law enforcement needs. As a result Detica, Inc. is the only responsible source to provide the necessary software required by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
