- UPDATING OF MASTER HEAD IN MAIN BUILDING PART 1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1.1 The Coast Guard requires a contractor fully qualified in the demolition and reconstruction of new head in main CG Sta Marathon building. PART 2 DESCRIPTION OF WORK 2.1 Contractor will remove and replace ceramic tile on floor. 2.2 Contractor will remove the 1 piece fiberglass showers and replace with cement board backer and ceramic tile on walls and floor and install waterproof floor pan. 2.3 Contractor will remove and replace shower water valve and shower head. 2.4 Contractor will remove and replace shower doors. 2.5 Contractor will remove and replace bench in shower area. 2.6 Contractor will install 6 robe hooks in shower area. 2.7 Contractor will remove and replace towel dispenser with electronic feed unit. 2.8 Contractor will remove and replace sink area, complete with new hard surface, top with new under mount sink and new electronic faucets with manual soap dispensers. 2.9 Contractor will remove and replace cabinet under sink. 2.10 Contractor will remove and replace all light fixtures. 2.11 Contractor will repaint walls and ceilings. 2.12 Contractor will repaint and repair toilet compartment partitions. 2.13 Contractor will repair toilet and urinal flush valves with electronic units. 2.14 Contractor will repaint entrance door frame and refinish door. 2.15 Contractor will install swing door and frame at utility closet. 2.16 In the Utility Room, the Contractor will remove and replace lights, remove and replace exhaust fan, remove and replace shelving and patch and repaint walls. This procurement is estimated between $25,000 and $35,000. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a size standard of $31.0M.
