- Description
- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)task order contracts for a Medicaid Integrity Audit Contractor to conduct audit activities required by the Medicaid Integrity Program provisions in the Deficit Reduction Act. This is anticipated to be a 12 month base effort from date of award with annual renewals. The purpose of this requirement is to establish the fundamental requirements to be performed by the Audit Contractor. Work will be defined in detail in each individual TOs and may include, but not limited to the following functions: ? auditing of paid claims for items or services furnished, or administrative services rendered, under a State plan under Title XIX, including: cost reports, consulting contracts, and risk contracts under section 1903 (m) of Title XIX. ? identifying overpayments to individuals or entities receiving Federal funds under Title XIX.
