- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) plans to acquire File Repository Maintenance Support Services. These services include, but are not limited to, filing and retrieval of all patent and trademark related files and miscellaneous documents, delivery service, and repository records maintenance. The USPTO anticipates the period of performance of this acquisition to be for a base period and four, one-year option periods. The acquisition will be available for competition among qualified small business concerns only. The small business competitive acquisition will be classified under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 493110. This acquisition will be conducted as a Commercial Item acquisition using procedures in FAR Part 12. Further instructions will follow in the solicitation. The solicitation will not be posted before July 23, 2007. The solicitation will be made available on the USPTO?s business opportunity Internet site at http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/comp/proc/currproj.htm.
