- The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to solicit for purchase of 200 each, Support, Precipitation, Gauge, Tripod, Metal, with Mounting Stakes, Galvanized Finish, Unassembled, with Assembly Instructions (Used with standard 8 inch non-recording precipitation gauge) in accordance with Specification No. P050-SP001. NSN: 6660-00-925-6683; ASN: P050. The item is being purchased for the National Weather Service, to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. This item supports the National Weather Service (NWS) spare parts program. This requirement shall be considered a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this action is 332999. Any small business sources are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 5 calendar days after its publication. All contractors doing business with the Central Region Acquisition Division (CRAD) must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) or certification with the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). This is a government initiative that was designed by the Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE) to replace the paper Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs) process. No award can be made unless the vendor is registered with CCR.
