- Description
- The work consists of rehabilitation of floodwater retarding structure, South River 26, Inch Branch, Augusta County, Virginia. Major items of work consists of 1) removing the existing concrete riser and replacing it with a new concrete riser; 2) reconstructing the vegetated auxiliary spillway; 3) constructing a new training dike along the auxiliary spillway; and 4) constructing a new access road. Item include: clearing and grubbing, structure removal, pollution control, seeding and mulching, construction surveys, mobilization and demobilization, removal of water, excavation, earthfill, topsoiling, concrete class 4500, steel reinforcement, reinforced concrete conduit, corrugated PE tubing, PVC pipe, water control gate, wire rope guard rail, monument, contractor quality control, articulated concrete block, construction access road, permanent access road. This work is to be completed in 123 calendar days. Estimated price range for this work is $500,000 to $1,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency.
