- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supervision, transportation, materials and other incidentals necessary for installing soil nails (super nails) to stabilize fill slope along approximately 200' of Tellico River Road, Tellico Ranger District, Monroe County, Tennessee. Work includes drilling approximately 135 holes into fill slope, inserting 1.5" diameter steel pipes into holes, filling pipes with cement grout, and then inserting an epoxy coated rebar into the grout. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: between $25,000 and $100,000. PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located on the Tellico Ranger District, Tellico Plains, Monroe County, Tennessee. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-07-0020 and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation and will be available for downloading on or about June 28, 2007 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Bid visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database(CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Information is available at the site including how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are also required to be registered with the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration may be completed by going to http://www.bpn.gov and clicking on ?Online Reps and Certs Application?. You must be active in CCR and have an MPIN from that active record to begin ORCA registration. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Intrested Vendor. The Interested Vendor?s List will be the only Bidder?s List maintained for this procurement.
