- The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA has a requirement to establish an indefinite delivery / requirements contract to provide wooden material handling pallets, size: 40 inches long X 48 inches wide. Stringer width: 2 inches. Stringer height: 4 inches. Stringer qty: 3. Assembly method: Nailed. Assembly form: Set-up. Face type: Single. Face construction: Slatted. 4 way forklift entry. Platform side design: Overhanging. Platform overall height: 5.375 inches. Material: Heat treated wood and must be stamped as such. ASME-MH12-1999 applies. Pallets will be shipping to Defense Distribution Depot Warner Robins AFB, GA 31098. Contract period shall be for one (1) year base period with four (4) one year option periods. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 321920 and the size standard is 500 employees. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http:// www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to the responsible offer using the lowest priced, technically acceptable source selection process. It is anticipated that RFP SP3100-07-R-0022 will be posted to this site on or around July 13, 2007. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this site. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued under this RFP. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments.
