- PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A PRE-DRAFT SOLICITATION NOTICE TO NOTIFY POTENTIAL OFFERORS OF THE CURRENT STATUS REGARDING THE MISSILE DEFENSES AGENCY ENGINEERING AND SUPPORT SERVICES (MiDAESS) ACQUISITION. The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is still working to finalize the acquisition strategy for the MiDAESS program. In a related action, the agency is refining the matrix management concept which was briefed at the MiDAESS industry day. The changes will be incorporated into the final MiDAESS strategy. Our tentative schedule for the initial Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP) and release of a draft RFP have been delayed. Our current target dates are 20 Jul 07 for the initial ASP and Sep 07 for release of a draft RFP. MDA is continuing to register companies that are interested in having a one-on-one session with the government regarding the MiDAESS acquisition. Please use the attached form and follow listed directions for submittal if you are interested and have not previously submitted the form. The meetings are being held as schedules allow. Small businesses interested in doing business with MDA are encouraged to contact the MDA Small Business Programs Office, Mr. Lee Rosenberg Director, (703) 553-3403 for small business assistance. Please continue to direct any questions and inquiries on the MiDAESS acquisition to either our industry advocate, Professional Services Council (PSC), at MDAInfo@pscouncil.org or directly to MDA at MiDAESS@mda.mil. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute an RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive email notification when information, solicitation and any amendments and future documents regarding this acquisition are issued and available for downloading. MDA will not directly send offerors the solicitation or any amendments. It is the interested offerors responsibility to periodically check this website for updates.
