- This is modification 2 to the synopsis entitled Orion Project Integration Contract (OPIC) which was posted on March 12, 2007. You are notified that the following changes are made: 1. A draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) and cover letter to All Prospective Offerors have been posted to the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) website. In addition, a link to this information is provided from the OPIC website: http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/opic/default.asp NASA is soliciting industry comments for the OPIC DRFP no later than Monday, July 2, 2007. Please see the DRFP cover letter for instructions on how to submit responses. 2. The Technical Library is populated to the OPIC website. 3. Information on NASA "Communications with Industry" is posted to to OPIC website. 4. The list of interested vendors has been updated and re-posted to the OPIC website. 5. The names of the Procurement Development Team (PDT) members are posted to the OPIC website. 6. A pre-proposal conference will be held on Monday, June 18, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. local time at the NASA Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, Robert R. Gilruth Recreation Center, Alamo Ballroom, Houston, Texas. A map and directions have been posted to the OPIC website. The Contracting Officer will only accept written questions at the conference. Answers will be provided, as time allows, following the NASA presentations. All questions will be answered and posted to the OPIC website at a later date. 7. The PDT will conduct one-on-one meetings with interested prospective offerors on Monday, June 18, 2007, from 1 to 5 p.m. local time and on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 from 1 to 5 p.m. local time at the Gilruth Recreation Center, Rio Grande Room. Appointments for the 30 minute one-on-one meetings may be scheduled until Monday, June 18, 2007 at 12 noon local time. Please see the posting "Communications with Industry", on the OPIC website, for information on how to schedule one-on-one meetings. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/JSC Business Opportunities home page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=73 Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments.
