- GNAT PRO SOFTWARE YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION NASA/GSFC intends to procure the items below from Ada Core, New York, NY for the following Commercial item: 1- T5: Ada/X86LYN - GNAT Pro native envirinment to develop Ada Software(including Ada 2005) for x86 LynxOS. 2- T5: Ada/X86WIN - GNAT pro native environment to develop Ada Software(including Ada 2005) for x86 Windows. 3- T5: ASI/X86LYN - ASIS native Library to develop tools for Ada Software for x86 LynxOS. 4- T5: Ada/X86WIN - ASIS native library to develop tools for Ada Software forx86 Windows. The authority is FAR 13.106(b)(1) only one source reasonably available. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. DO Rating is DO-C9. This synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 PM EST on june 20, 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon reponses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Nadja Hardy (nadja.hardy@nasa.gov) no later than April 30, 2007. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
