- SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION: This acquisition is being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00104-07-Q-Q647, which is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334111. The government intends to award a sole source contract to Advanced Programs, Inc. of Columbia, MD for its specialized approved configuration of portable Panasonic CF-51 Toughbook. The requirement consists of the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): CLIN 0001: 4 each TEMPEST N otebook Based of Panasonic CF-51 Toughbook Intel? Core? Duo Processor 2500:2MB L2 cache, 2.0GHz 4 GB SDRAM (DDR2) 80GB (shock-mounted & removable) hard drive 15" 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) TFT Active Matrix Color LCD ATI Mobile Radeon x1300, 256MB VR Multimedia Pocket Power Supply; Lithium Ion battery pack (11.1V, 660mAh) Serial port, 1x D9 USB port, 1x D9 Softpack carry case. SC NIC Port and SC Fiber NIC 2 meter cable. 3-Year Warranty Parts and Labor; CLIN 0002: 6 TEMPEST External Hard Drive, 300GB Based on Seagate Technology OneTouch III Based on Seagate Technology OneTouch III Includes TEMPEST and commercial USB cables; CLIN 0003: 4 each TEMPEST External Mouse; CLIN 0004: 4 each TEMPEST Headphone; CLIN 0005: 4 each TEMPEST Microphone; CLIN 0006: 8 each Spare 80GB (shock-mounted & removable) hard drive; CLIN 0007: 4 each Pelican Style hard travel case with fitted inserts, Accommodates laptop as well as all spare items in solicitation; CLIN 0008: 4 each Spare external power supply unit; CLIN 0009: 4 each External media converter; fibre to RJ-45; and CLIN 0010: 4 each Spare Internal Battery. Brand name only, no substitutions. The required delivery for all CLINs is within 8-12 weeks of contract award. Delivery to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Attn: Frank Greco, San Diego C4ISR Programs Philadelphia, 700 Robbins Ave, Building 7D, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5098. Inspection and accep tance are FOB destination. The Government intends to make a sole source award to Advanced Programs, Inc. Any other alternate proposals must demonstrate an understanding of the requirement and the ability to meet the specifications.
