- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific intends to issue a sole source modification to existing Southeast Asia Multi-Function Support (SEAMS) Services contract, N62742-00-D-5001 with Defense Support Services Singapore Pte Ltd (DS2). The modification to this Fixed-Price w/IQ provisions contract will extend the present period of performance for OY7 (FY08) from 10 months to 12 months. Although more than one source may be able to fulfill the requirement, this would create substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through a competition for the short term extension. The modification will also increase the maximum amount to be procured under the IQ provisions from $761k to $3.1Mil. The projected IQ work includes, but is not limited to: relocating and renovating various office spaces, relocate HAZMAT lockers, minor landscaping, repair flooring in warehouse, and renovate laundry rooms in family housing. The modification is being executed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
