- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to procure Aquatic Herbicides to be delivered to Palatka, FL. Aquatic Herbicides to be procured are REWARD (Diquat), or equal packaged in 2.5 gallon containers; 2, 4-D Weedar 64, or equa l packaged in new, non-returnable plastic drums of 30 gallon capacity and Glyphosate, or equal packed in 2.5 gallon containers. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded with a delivery date of 30 days from date of award. The Government will award a con tract resulting form this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose bid, conforming to this IFB, will be most advantageous to the Government. This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, therefore only small businesses are i nvited to respond. The applicable NAICS Code is 325320, Small Business Size Standard is 500 Employees. Solicitation W912EP 07 B 0021 will be issued on or about 22 June 2007 and offers due on or about 17 July 2007. Solicitation will be issued in electroni c format only and will be posted on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website at https://www.fedteds.gov/. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted. There is a VENDOR USER GUIDE available on the FedTeDS website. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. If you are not registered, the Government is not re sponsible with providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. In addition, in order to generate a Plan Holders List, all interested bidders must also REGISTER AS INTERESTED VENDOR which is also located on the Federal Business Opportu nities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this procurement. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation.
