- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number F2Y3RY7114A100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1499 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 325998. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 Employees. CLIN 0001--BRAND NAME OR EQUAL--Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) changeout Replace GAC at Amerian Lake Garden Tract (ALGT) Facility; contractor is to provide all transportation labor, plant, equipment, tools, materials and supples for exahnging GAC at the ALGT and treatment plant. The contractor will transport virgin GAC via tanker truck to the pump and treatment plant, Bldg 887, McChord AFB, WA for the exchange and exhausted GAC off-site to permitted regeneration or reactivation facility. Contractor will fill up vessel according to Statement of Work (attached) and will only charge customer for the amount used. Period of Performance: 25 June 2007 - 30 Sept 2007.
