Description
NSN: 6695-01-363-3031PR, P/N: 1369M58P02, Noun: TRANSDUCER, MOTIONAL; Item Description: The transducer consists of a steel shaft extending from a cylinder and attaches to the nozzle actuation ring. FUNCTION: In and out movement of the transducer shaft produces an electrical signal, which indicates the position of the augmentor nozzle. DIMENSIONS: APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: Overall length with cylinder extended is 28.12 in., with cylinder retracted is 21.50 in. Cylinder width is 1.38 in. Material: Stainless Steel. Application: F110 Engine. Destination: DTK002 & DIS002. BEQ is 13 each. THIS REQUIRMENT IS SOLE SOURCE TO AMETEK AEROSPACE. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the aforementioned firm. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the government. The issue date of the solicitation to Ametek will be approximately 15 days after release of Synopsis. The anticipated award date will be approximately 60 days after close of solicitation. Written and electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only responsible sources (Ametek) solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Note: Based upon Market Research, the government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies/services. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
