- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network 22 Logistic Office (NLO), Long Beach, CA has a requirement for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System for the establishment of a new Capitated Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in the South Orange County area. The contractor is to provide primary care and mental health services. It is the VA's intention to solicit proposals on a competitive basis for a full-service, all inclusive, capitated rate method of payment CBOC. This procurement is unrestricted and is open to all offerors. The annual capitated rate shall represent a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, and Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) all-inclusive reimbursement rate for the performance of all contract services. The contractor facility must provide services exclusively to veterans only. The contract will include a base year (one year from date of award), with four (4) one-year renewal options that can be exercised at the option of the Government. The total duration of the contract will not exceed 5 years. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 15. NAICS is 621498, Size Standard $9.0 Million. The solicitation is expected to be made available via posting in FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about June 22, 2007. The need for a preproposal conference will be coordinated and planned for a scheduled date & time. All responsible interested parties will be informed of the exact date, time, and conference location. All Offerors are responsible for making their interest known regarding this solicitation by obtaining all solicitation documents and amendments via FedBizOpps. No telephone request will be honored. Any and all questions regarding the solicitation must be in writing.
