- Description
- The Intramural Research Program (IRP) of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) has a need for services from a qualified organization having the capabilities and experience to assist in the ongoing operations to conduct clinical services by using volunteer human participants. The IRP Clinical Program conducts multidisciplinary research involving residential and nonresidential clinical studies that interrelate with pre-clinical laboratory investigations. These studies evaluate the nature of drug abuse and addiction by assessing the abuse potential of drugs, investigating their underlying mechanisms and assessing treatment modalities for substance use disorders. The objective of this contract is to provide the IRP with clinical care support services and resources necessary to maintain the research operation of the NIDA IRP Clinical Research Program. NIDA anticipates award of a 5 year cost reimbursement contract. It is estimated that the solicitation will be issued on/about May 30, 2007 with proposals due June 30, 2007.
