- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The office of NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for microarray analyses, RNA quality control, statistical analyses, and produce gene expression data tables for use in characterizing the impacts of harmful algal bloom toxins on gene expression in the central nervous system of vertebrates. The period of performance is August 2007 through June 2008. Deliverables are. (1) assistance in experimental design; (2) purchase of microarrays and all necessary supplies for microarray analysis; (3) performance of microarray, statistical, Quantitative PCR, and RNA quality analyses; (4) generation of fully annotated differential gene lists; and (5) participation in writing of methods and results sections for the resulting manuscript. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. All vendors doing business with the Government are now required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR.
