- Womack army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina 28310 intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis, the following items for Osteomed LP: Handpieces PN 450-0777 (14 each); Series II Motor Unit PN 450-0080 (2 each); Modular Motor Unit w/cord PN 450-0030 (2 each) and Lubrication Sleeve for Drill (1 each)for use with the exising OsteoPower Surgical Handpiece System. This requirement is being s ole sourced to Osteomed, the manufacturer and sole distributor, as these additional parts are the only items compatible with the referenced equipment. IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requi rements. Any firms believing they can provide these components may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office of Womack Army Medical Center no later than 10:00 p.m. EST 15 June 2007. The response must clearly show the firm's abili ty to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the system. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A determination not to compe te this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Informaiton received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition in the future.
