- Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis, the following items: 1 ea S-OCT3 Stratus Retinal Analyzer with NDB, Printer, and Table with Zeiss Optical Coherence Tomography to i nclude installation and 1 year warranty and is to include 2 operator, parts, and service manuals. This requirement is sole sourced to Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc. given that this equipment is their proprietary technology. IAW FAR 6.302-1--Only One Responsibl e Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Any firms believing they can provide the equipment and components may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 10:00 a.m. 15 June 2008. T he response must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the system and data without causing any financial hardship. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
