- Description
- The Contractor shall provide 5 full-time on-site trainers to support the stand-up of the Afghan National Army's (ANA) Communications Support Element (CSE). CSE is essentially a tactical signal battalion and includes a full spectrum of deployable communications and base support functions. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. Except for items, services, equipment, and facilities identified as government-furnished, the Contractor shall provide everything necessary to perform services required by the Statement of Work (SOW). Period of Performance is a 6 month base period and one (1) 6 month option period. This requirement is unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 928110. The solicitation package will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) on or about 10 June 07 and will close on or about 20 Jun 07. EPS can be accessed at http://www2.fbo.gov. THE AFOREMENTIONED DATES ARE ONLY ESTIMATES AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. The specific closing date will be stated in the solicitation package. All responsible offerors must be CCR registered to be considered for award. For registration go to http://www.ccr.gov and follow the instructions. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. POTENTIAL OFFERORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THE EPS WEBSITE FOR THE RELEASE OF THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE, AMENDMENTS AND ANY OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION. Prospective offerors that plan to download the solicitation are requested to submit company name, address, including zip +four, telephone number, fax number, email address, point of contact to Capt Richard R. Bremer via email at richard.r.bremer@afghan.swa.army.mil. Electronic proposals WILL NOT be accepted. Hard copy proposals must be delivered to Purchasing & Contracting Office, Kabul Regional Contracting Center, Wazir Akbar Khan Area, Street #10, Camp Eggers, Kabul, Afghanistan by the offeror due date. The envelope or package used to submit you proposal must show the time and date specified for receipt, the solicitation number, and the name and address of the offeror.
