- UNICOR Milan intends to enter into a Five (5) year firm fixed price requirements type contract for Powder Paint for the Milan Furniture Factory. The solicitation number is FN1271-07 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The minimum delivery order quantity is 50 pounds per delivery order and the maximum delivery order quantity is 100,000 pounds per delivery order. Delivery date requested is 21 days. Quantity variation +/- 10%. Bidders are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an “all or none basis”. Bidders shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR Federal Prison Industries, 4002 E. Arkona Road Milan, MI 48160 ATTN: Nancy Keeler, Contract Specialist. This information shall be displayed on the outside of the envelope with the solicitation number and offer closing date. All bidders must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items. All Bidders must complete the ACH form and the CCR Registration, which can be found on UNICOR’s webpage at www.unicor.gov. For the ACH form click on business commercial opportunities, navigate to, procurement forms and click on ACH form and print. For CCR Registration scroll down the page to Central Contractor Registration and complete internet based form. Fax proposals are accepted at (734) 439-8759, Attn: Nancy Keeler Contract Specialist, the fax cover sheet shall reference the solicitation number and offer closing date and time. All bidders must acknowledge all amendments if any. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible party whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: Past Performance, Specification, and Price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful bidder within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The solicitation will be available on Fedbizops at www.eps.gov on or about March 30, 2007. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All responsible bidders may submit a quote which will be considered. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-MAR-2007).
