- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), has a requirement for an AbrasiveJet Machining Center, water softener, precision optical locator, Tilt-a-Jet, integral solids removal system, Weir tank assembly, and a terrain follower. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to be conducted on a competitive basis under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) N00167-07-Q-5159 is anticipated to be issued on or about June 22, 2007 and can be accessed via the following websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ or https://www.neco.navy.mil/. This requirement is issued on an unrestrictive basis. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the agency. Note: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, prior to award of a contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchase agreement.
