FAQ070070 - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - Concrete Barricades for BLM Las Vegas Field Office, located in North Las Vegas, Nevada This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION THAT WILL BE ISSUED; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND AN ADDITIONAL WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. QUOTES MAY BE SUBMITTED VIA FAX (775-289-1910) OR EMAIL (kim_ferguson@nv.blm.gov) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. FAQ070070. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for Concrete K-Rail Barricades as identified below, including delivery and set up at the project site in North Las Vegas, Nevada. All items shall be domestic made. LINE ITEM 0001 - CONCRETE K-RAIL BARRICADES - Quantity: 35 Each BARRICADE SPECIFICATIONS: A. 20 feet long each B. 32 inches tall C. Bottom base should be approx. 24 inches wide and the top of barricade should be approx. 6 inches wide. D. The barricades need to be pinned together to form a continuous unit (700 ft. long) LINE ITEM 0002 - DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION AT THE PROJECT SITE IN NORTH LAS VEGAS (OFF OF ALLIANTE PARKWAY BETWEEN GRAND TETON AND HORSE DRIVE) - Quantity: 1 Lump Sum DELIVERY INFORMATION: Barricades are to be delivered and set up at the project site in North Las Vegas. Contractor will be shown the exact location by the COR before scheduled delivery. Delivery and set-up should be made Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, unless other arrangements are made with the designated COR for this project. (FOB: Destination) Please include an Estimated Time of Delivery. LINE ITEM 0003 - OPTIONAL LINE ITEM - ADDITIONAL CONCRETE K-RAIL BARRICADES - Quantity: up to 40 Each (Line Item 0003 is optional at the Governments discretion, dependent on additional government needs and availability of funds). BARRICADE SPECIFICATIONS (are the same as Line Item 0001): A. 20 feet long each B. 32 inches tall C. Bottom base should be approx. 24 inches wide and the top of barricade should be approx. 6 inches wide. D. The barricades need to be pinned together to form a continuous unit (700 ft. long) LINE ITEM 0004 - ADDITIONAL DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION COSTS FOR THE OPTIONAL LINE ITEM 0003 - TO BE DELIVERED TO THE SAME AREA IN NORTH LAS VEGAS - Quantity: 1 Lump Sum DELIVERY INFORMATION: Barricades are to be delivered and set up at the site location in North Las Vegas as requested by the BLM Las Vegas Field Office - If Line Item 0003 is exercised and additional quantities are needed. Delivery and set-up should be made Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, unless other arrangements are made with the designated COR for this project. (FOB: Destination) LINE ITEMS 0003 & 0004 ARE OPTIONAL AND MAY NOT BE EXERCISED.
