- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This requirement is in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following is a Request for Quotation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures IAW FAR Part 13.5. This acquisition will be for small businesses. The NAICS code is 333999. THE 301 OPERATIONAL CONTRACTING HAS A REQUIREMENT FOR ONE (1) FODBOSS RAPID RESPONSE AIRFIELD SWEEPER ASSEMBLY (PN: BOSS-8) OR AN EQUIVALENT. Delivery is FOB 301FW, NAS JRB Fort Worth, TX. 76127-6200. The following FAR clauses are applicable to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Condition - Commercial Items; (SEP 2005); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order - Commercial Items (AUG 2006). DFAR 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (JUL 2006). Referenced clauses can be seen at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ Offeror must have current registration in CCR and ORCA. The Government will award a purchase order to the vendor whose offer conforms to solicitation requirements and provides best value to the government. All quotes must be valid for 30 days. This announcement will close, with quotes due, no later than 12:00 PM (CDT) 11 June 2007.
