- Description
- Aircraft Fixture Set applicable to multiple aircrafts. This acquisition is for NSN: 4920-01-166-7250RN, part number: 16A74029-5. The fixture set attaches to the aircraft INU mount to align or recheck alignment of the mount on the F-16 weapon system. The set consists of a boresight fixture assembly with storage case; and a fixture assembly, inertial navigation unit, and battery boresight with storage case. This requirement will be set-aside 100% for small businesses. It will consist of a basic quantity of 5 ea and 4 option years with a quantity of 1-5 ea per year. The option years will valid for USAF and FMS requirements. All USAF assets will be shipped FOB Destination with inspection and acceptance at Origin. All FMS assets will be shipped FOB Origin with inspection and acceptance at Origin. Delivery schedule is 12 months ARO award. Multiple shipping locations are involved. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offers will be evaluated based on past performance and price. The Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) program will be utilized in the evaluation of past performance. OFFERORS ARE STRONLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THEIR DATA FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Evaluation may also include input from the cognizant DCMA Administrative Contracting Officer/Industrial Specialist and/or thru conduct of Pre-Award Survey. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 18 June, 2007. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/ ). The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the FEDTEDS webpage (https://www.fedteds.gov/). All vendors are required to register via FEDTEDS for an account in order to access the technical data.
