- Description
- The 37th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for the manufacturing of three Auxillary Power Unit (APU) Hoisting Units in support of the 433rd Air Wing, Lackland AFB TX. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 and DFARS Change Notice 20070426. North American Industry Classification System Code 333924 and Size Standard of 750 employees applies to this acquisition. This acquisition is issued as a 100% Small Business set-aside. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5 as supplemented. Solicitation number FA3047-07-T-0021 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and can be downloaded on or about 1 Jun 07. Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and downloading the solicitation or any subsequent amendments through the Electronic Posting System (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Oral quotes will not be accepted. Quotes will be evaluated based on price, and award will be made to the quoter that is the most advantageous to the government. Quotes should include the following information: Company name, address, telephone and fax numbers, email address, business size/type, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, DUNS number, and tax ID number. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. To register, you may call 1-888-227-2423 or apply via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must also complete the Representations and Certifications in the ORCA database at http://www.bpn.gov/orca. Quotes must be submitted no later than 18 June 07, 3:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, to the attention of John S. Bandy, 37 CONS/LGCC-D, 1655 Selfridge Ave, Lackland AFB TX 78236.
