- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest has a requirement for aerial services to transport and place materials in stream channels located on forest. Services included require transporting trees, some with root wads and some without, from a staging site to flagged destinations in the East Fork Lewis River and Pine Creek. Also required is the transportation and placement of spawning gravel from stockpile locations to flagged locations in Rush Creek. The contractor receiving award of this project will be responsible for providing, organizing and directing all the equipment and personnel required to carry out the work. The NAICS code for this procurement is 481212, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1500 Employees. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is June 11, 2007. A single contract will be awarded to the offeror presenting the best value to the Forest Services based upon; price; experience; and past performance.
