- GSA Automotive is the mandatory source of supply for the purchase of new non-tactical vehicles for each executive agency and the Department of Defense (DoD). GSA will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for cab and chassis with vocational bodies to be built in accordance with the Federal Standard 307AL. The Federal Standard 307AL will cover the following types of vehicles with a GVWR less than 20,000 lbs: 4X2 and 4X4 - regular cab, extended cab and crew cab trucks with stake bodies, utility bodies, cargo bodies and dump bodies; 4X2 - low cab forward trucks with stake bodies and cargo bodies; 4X2, AWD (all wheel drive) and AWDC (all wheel drive conversion) - cargo and passenger vans; 4X2 - multistop vans; 4X2 and AWDC - panel vans; and 4X2 - flightline vans. The contract type will be Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA). The period of performance consists of one (1) base year with four (4), one (1) year options. Prospective offerors are required to obtain a user name and password for GSA's secure on-line proposal application (AutoBid). User name and password may be obtained by submitting the solicitation number, company's name, DUNS number, user's name, telephone number, and proposed cab and chassis make (e.g. Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet and etc.) to gina.jordan@gsa.gov or joan.summers@gsa.gov. Account information will be provided within five business days of your request. Please request user name and password prior the issuance of the solicitation to avoid delays. Registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required. AutoBid will not be available until the solicitation opens.
