- Description
- This is a sole source acquisition for evaluation of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. This system collects and processes real-time data. Electrical SCADA system is used by electrical technicians and engineers to monitor electrical distribution system and to remotely control of electrical equipment. The system consists of all electrical and electronic devices, computer hardware and software for data metering, analyzing and communications from substations to operator?s computer interface. A Firm Price Contract is anticipated using the Simplified Acquisition procedure. The FSC code is 5810 and the NAICS code is 423610. The requiring activity is the Naval Facilities Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. The RFQ will be posted on 06/1/07 with closing date of 6/11/2007. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
