- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure services on a sole source basis with AAI Corporation to procure Contractor Support Repair Services for the Joint Service Electronic Combat Systems Tester (JSECST) test sets which require checkout and calibration before shipment to Fleet sites. The Contractor will be required to pull 20 JSECST units from shipped in-place inventory, run a complete power-on checkout including Operational Assurance/Fault Isolation (OA/FI) software, and calibrate each unit. After completion of these tasks, AAI Corp. will ship the test sets to Fleet sites designated by the Electronic Warfare Common Support Equipment (EW CSE) Team Leader. The period of performance will be approximately (3-1/2) months beginning 15 JUNE 2007 and continuing until 30 SEPTEMBER 2007. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-07-P-0346. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Navy anticipates award to be a firm fixed price contract. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
