Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Encompass Data & Mapping, 518 W. 19th Ave., Anchorage, Alaska 99503-1830. Encompass Data & Mapping will provide updates to the Alaska National Park boundaries and the affected land status data layer with the best available data sources. (See General Description below). Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), the value of the contract is expected to be under $100,000. The National Park Service (NPS), Alaska Regional Office requires updates to its Alaska National Park boundaries and its interdependent land status data layer with the best available data sources and optionally to develop a data model and convert the existing data that enables the NPS to work with the land status data. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This service will be procured under Firm Fixed Price Service in accordance with FAR 12 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
