- The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for medical services for the Treasure Lake Job Corps, Ogden, Utah. This requirement for commercial items is being procured in accordance with Subpart 13.5, "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items" and Parts 12 and 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Request for Proposal, and this solicitation is a Small Business Set Aside. The contractor shall provide medical services including, but not limited to a routine initial physical examination and definite health history of all students, including HCT of all male students as well as routine laboratory tests and x-rays 24-hour emergency coverage to the Treasure Lake Job Corps is also required. All employees providing medical care services will be working with young people ages 16-24 years old of varying ethnic and socioeconomic background. Treasure Lake Job Corps will provide facilities, equipment, and all supplies on this contract. The contractor is to provide quality services, timeliness, as well as provide good customer service. The contract is for a base year and 4 one-year options, and may be extended up to six months past the completion date (in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. The approximate date of solicitation issuance is June 4, 2007. The work will be performed under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 621111. Department of the Interior has directed the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source on vendors doing business with the Government. Prospective vendors are encouraged to register in CCR prior to the award of a contract.
