The Antenna OE-254 is the piece of communications equipment within the Air Defense and Airspace Management (ADAM). Successful operations are dependent upon two antennas per ADAM. R.A. Miller Industries Inc. is the supply source for this particular item. A market research was done util izing the internet. There are other manufacturers of antennas; however, there wasnt another product that satisfies the brand name or equal technical qualifications. R.A. Miller Industries Inc. offers the industrys most reliable and highest performance antenna systems. R.A Miller Industries, inc. operates to the strictest engineering and quality requirements including MIL-STD-810, ISO 10012-1, QS-9000, Government TQM, and FAA Technical Standard Order. All offerors must meet qualification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. See number note 22 is revi sed as follows: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to res pond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received with fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determina tion by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
