- The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to solicit offers in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) W911SE-07-R-0026 to contract for 140 one bedroom apartments. These apartments will be for the 87th Division loca ted in Hoover Alabama which plans, conducts and evaluates training exercises for five major subordinate commands of the Army Reserve and National Guard. These apartments will be required move in ready and as such, fully furnished, as well as receive occas ional services in accordance with applicable established Performance Work Statement. Apartments will be required to be located within a 10 mile radius of the U.S. Army Reserve Center, 1400 Golden Acorn Drive, Birmingham AL. 35244-1295, in the interest of preventing mission failure. Additionally, any apartment proposed, must at the time of proposal, exist within an apartment complex that has a functioning electric gate encompassing the entire complex and which is operable at the time in which proposals are received. This solicitation will be issued as a HubZone set-aside and will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 15. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 531110 and size standard is $6,5 00,000.00. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price with one year base-period that is inclusive of a 16 day Phase In Period, and two one year options, of which the last option includes a 15 day Phase Out Period. The solicitation will be issued on or about 01 June 2007. Proposals will be due on or about 29 June 2007, 12:00 P.M. EST.
