- Description
- The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture has a requirement for construction work related to the Willapa estuary wetland restoration project. Major items of work consists of mobilization/demobilization, pollution control, sediment fence, traffic control, channel excavation, breach excavation, seeding, sprigging, and mulching, archeological monitoring, to construct approximately 8000 feet of estuary tide channel following remnant channel patterns, construct five dike breaches approximately 1200 feet in total length along the existing dike system. Dike breaching activities must be completed during the low tide cycle which could require construction activities during the night hours. This solicitation is for full and open competition and is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Performance period is approximately 80 calendar days from date of award .This project is subject to the Davis-Beacon Act. Interested bidders may register at http://www.fedbizops.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and/or any amendments are issued and available for downloading. You must use FedBizOpps to download the solicitation if interested. The solicitation will be available approximately 25 days after the date this notice appears in the FedBizOpps (i.e. May 7, 2007). A site showing/pre-bid conference will be scheduled for June 7, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in South Bend, WA complete details will be in the solicitation. Bid opening date is July 2, 2007, at 9:00 AM (PDT) (local Time) 316 W. Boone Avenue, Suite 450, Spokane, Washington 99201 for receipt of seal bids in hardcopy original. An original bid bond for 20% of the bid amount is required. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which if timely received, shall be considered.
