- This amendment is to change the response date to June 15, 2007 Aerial LiDAR data collection and post processing services for the Malheur National Forest and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. This project is the data acquisition phase for project planning area and technology transfer being done in collaboration with the Malheur National Forest and other agencies. The primary goal of the study is to provide operation implementation of LiDAR technology in support of project level planning. The proposed application of LiDAR in support of planning are: vegetation structural modeling, erosion modeling, fuels, transportation planning, timber system planning, wildlife habitat modeling, and stream quality. The study consits of two non-contiguous blocks totaling 29,229 acres.
