- The required work is to identify, select and collect cones from sugar pines that are visually blister rust free. Seed Collection will require the packaging, labeling, cleaning, and storage of the seed prior to delivery to the Government. The work is to be performed on the Lassen National Forest and the eastern side of the Plumas Naaional Forests. All work areas maybe reached by driving on standard Forest Service roads. The contract is for one year. Should cone collection numbers be inadequate, two options maybe exercised at the Forest Service's discretion. Estimated contract start date is August 1, 2007 with 80 days contract time. This solicitation will be available for electronic download on or around June 6, 2007.
