- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase the following item manufactured by CRU-DataPort: Quantity of 100, Part Number 6176-1121-0000, Description is a 68 pin SCCI Ultra320 ruggedized carrier with relocated connector, beige. This is a sole source acquisition for a specific part number, manufactured by CRU-DataPort. Only the specified part number will meet the Government?s requirements; NO SUBSTITUTIONS. The reason for the sole source acquisition is that only the id entified part number can be used as it has modifications to meet shock and environmental requirements for shipboard use and is specified by the design agent to meet SSDS OA program requirements for console upgrades. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2:00 pm ET on 8 May 2007. The anticipated award date is 18 May 2007. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. The estimated delivery date shall be no later than 30 days after award date. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE.
