- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase the following Software Resources International CHARON-VAX products: 1 CHARON-VAX XL PLUS Emulation License, Part No. SA-XLPL; 2 One Year of CHARON-VAX XL PLUS Gold Software Support, Part No. SA-XLPL-GS; 1 HP transfer license for Open VMS, Part No. SA-VMS-XFR; 1 HP Layered products transfer, Part No. SA-LAY-XFR. These items will be acquired using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 04 May 2007. Anticipated award date is 11 May 2007. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. Delivery shall be four to eight weeks after receipt of order. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. Electronic quote submission is encouraged at DLGR_NSWC_XDS12@navy.mil, but the quote may also be faxed at (540) 653-4089 or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS12G, Bldg. 183, Room 104, 17632 Dahlgren Rd., Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110.
