- Description
- The work consists of installing a precast entrance wall to the existing fish trap at the Townshend Dam. In addition precast concrete flashboards are to be installed in the low flow channel to replace existing aluminum flashboards. To control flows, for maintenance purposes, stop gates are to be installed in existing slots in the fish passage walls upstream and downstream of the fish trap. Grounding grid, (flat bar), will be installed on the interior wall of the new precast entrance wall. Grounding grid, (flat bar), will be installed to connect the flat bar existing on the floor of the fish passage to the flat bar grounding grid on the concrete apron downstream of the fish passage. The contractor is responsible for all dewatering operations required to accomplish the above. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and 100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 16 May 2007. Prospective contractors are required to self register their firms on the Internet to receive this s olicitation. . This procurement is restricted to HUB ZONE small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $31,000,000.
