- North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 331221. This procurement action is for the purchase of SHELL, ILLUMINANT CONTAINER, in accordance with drawing number 9213702 REV K, in support of the 155MM M485 Candle Loading Assembly. Al l canisters shall pass freely through a ring gage of 4.246 inches in diameter by 1.0 inches minimum width. Accept and Reject criteria shall be 0 for 1 for this requirement. Material Certification Required. Plating Certification Required. Quantity is 36 ,000 each and contains a 100 percent option. FOB Destination, Crane Army Ammunition Activity, Crane, IN. Delivery of Flare Cases shall be: First Article due 45 days after date of contract award and the production quantity due 85 days after First Article approval. If First Article is waived, the production quantity is due 85 days after date of contract award. EARLIER DELIVERY AUTHORIZED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE GOVERNMENT. This will be a firm fixed price contract. Electronic bid submission will ONL Y be accepted in response to this solicitation IF and ONLY IF the completed solicitation is included as an attachment in its ENTIRETY. Otherwise, all proposals MUST be faxed or mailed in by the specified date and time. All contractors who provide goods/se rvices to the DoD MUST be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR) and Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA). APPROXIMATE issue date is 15 May 2007 with the opening date 30 days from issue.
