- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, and material. Contractor furnished parts shall be either manufacturers original equipment or from an approved, qualified and/or engineering tested vendor. No su rplus parts shall be used or applied. Input/Output NSN: 6615-01-236-9807 Input/Output P/N: 306055/406-07-001-101 The proposed contractual action will be a Base year and one option year, firm fixed price type contract, with a quantity of 50 each for base year and 50 each for option year 1. Input will be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Output shall be 60 days a fter receipt of assets at a rate of 5-11 per month. The maintenance and overhaul shall be in accordance with the manufacturers blueprints/production drawings and specifications. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsibl e source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The approved sources(s) is BAE Systems Inertial Products Inc. (Cage 63395), because the technical data is not currently available to support a full an open competitive solicitati on. Firms that recognize and perform maintenance and repair on the required item described above are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qual ification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. No telephone requests for solicitation will be accepted. Solicitation will be requested by email or mail. No datafax or emails will not be accepted for proposals. This requirement is currentl y unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimate date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
