Description

Requirement for award of an indefinite-quantity, requirements type contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to seal coat roads located at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. This project may include grading gravel roads and applyi ng seal coat to asphalt and gravel roads. This work will consist of the construction of a seal coat composed of an application of asphaltic material with a covering of aggregate for seal coat cover, constructed on a previously completed surface. Contract period will be a base period of one year with two (2) one-year option periods. Project magnitude for the base contract period plus options is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will be required after award. The NAICS code is 237310 with a small business size standard of $27.5 million. Competition is full and open. Bid documents will be available electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about May 14, 2007. Telephonic, written, faxed, or elec tronic requests for hard copies of bid documents will be denied. Parties interested in the solicitation should access the web page for issuance of the solicitation, associated documents, and solicitation amendments; contractors will not be directly notifi ed of solicitation amendments. The Bid opening date will be approximately 30 days after bid issuance (initial posting on website) as indicated on the solicitation. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other documents required for bid submittal shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium of submission of bid documents will not be allowed. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. .
