Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91ZLK-07-T-0463. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-07. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334516 and Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to be delivered at Aberdeen Proving Gr ound, MD for the following items: 1. Statement of Work. Describe to the prospective contractor(s), the requirements for performance of work under the contract and the criteria for determining how the requirements shall be met. The gas chromatograph tandem-quadrupole mass spectrometer (GC-MS/MS) system to be acquired shall incorporate the following specifications: Mass Spectrometer a. A benchtop, triple quadrupole MS/MS mass spectrometer configure for GC-MS/MS b. Two high resolution, quadrupole analyzers with pre-filters to maximize resolution and transmission c. A high efficiency, hexapole collision cell with beam focusing at cell entry/exit d. Control software containing applications for scan functions, acquisition functions, tuning utilities, and data display. Gas Chromatograph a. An HP6890 gas chromatograph equipped with capillary split/splitless injector with EPC for 0-150psi operation b. An Agilent 7683 automated liquid sampler including a 100-sample tray Data System a. An IBM ThinkCentre b. MassLynx v4.1 or higher Application Software The criteria for determining how these requirements shall be met will be determined during system installation as part of the installation specifications The contract will be awarded to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation will be a determination as to equality of the product and shall be based on information furnished by the vendor. The Government is not responsible for loca ting or securing any information, which is not identified in the quotation.
