- Description
- The work consists of the contractor furnishing all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The following is a summary of work to replace high-bay lighting, located at Eielson AFB, AK. The project shall include, but is not limited to: 1. Replace high and low bay industrial lighting systems with energy efficient systems and controls in the following facilities: 1190, 1209, 1306, 1348, 3213 west bay, and 4105. 2. Install electrical meters in buildings 1190 and 1209. 3. Options include additional lighting system replacements in buildings 4231, 1348, and 3113, as well as electrical upgrades to building 3113. 4. All materials will be new and unused unless prior approval is obtained from the contracting officer. There will be no government provided materials. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238210 with a size standard of $13 million. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition conditions IAW FAR 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 7 May 2007. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement, all solicitation documents will be available electronically and it is the responsibility of the offeror to register for notification of updates to this procurement via this web site.
